Shelter eco-shop: souvenirs you want to take home

Today, more and more travelers are choosing not just comfort, but responsible vacations. We wonder what the cosmetics in the room are made of, where the used water goes, whether the garbage is sorted, and whether our vacation is not harming the mountains and forests where we came to "recharge."

Shelter shares this approach. Our hotel has been moving towards EU eco-standards for a long time: we have received the relevant certificates, have changed approaches to cleaning, sorting and resource use. But for us, sustainability is not only about internal processes, but also about what the guest can take home with them.

This is how the eco-shop appeared in the lobby - a small space where every item combines care for nature, quality, and the atmosphere of the Carpathians.

Every item here is thought out down to the smallest detail: composition, packaging, materials, reusability. We fundamentally do not offer “just another magnet” that collects dust. Everything you see in the shop window works for comfort, coziness, and conscious consumption.

Shelter branded green tea

Our tea is about evenings in the mountains, when the wind rustles outside the window, and a warm cup is in your hands. The composition is selected so that the drink is soft, aromatic and suitable for daily use. It is a small ritual of slowing down, which is easy to take home from the Carpathians.

Shelter home perfume

We have developed our own home fragrances in two formats - large and mini. They can be used to scent bedding, towels, and clothes in the closet. The light, clean scent reminds us of a hotel room, where everything is fresh, ironed, and cozy. It is important for us that the composition is as safe and delicate as possible, so such perfumes are appropriate even in a house with children.

Candles with an exclusive aroma

We produce candles ourselves, selecting the aroma specifically for Shelter. This is not “sweet vanilla from the store”, but more complex notes that are associated with wood, warmth, and the forest after the rain. You want to light such a candle in the evening, wrapped in a blanket, and once again feel the atmosphere of the mountains.

Wooden children's puzzles

Our puzzles are made of wood, and all the characters are drawn exclusively for Shelter. They are safe, pleasant to the touch, develop fine motor skills and imagination. It is an alternative to plastic toys that quickly break and go to the trash.

Knitted toys with a story

A special love of the eco-shop is handmade knitted toys. Each one is created especially for our hotel, has its own name and a card with the character's story. The child receives not just a souvenir, but a little friend with whom they can invent their own fairy tales.
