Upside-down House in Bukovel: Amazing Landmark of the Carpathian Region
During your trip to one of the most popular ski resorts of Ukraine - Bukovel, you will be greeted by an unusual architectural wonder. The upside-down Hut in the village of Polyanytsia has become a landmark for tourists who often stop here to take photos and enjoy the unique atmosphere. This is the first such building in Ukraine, and its popularity only grows every year. An unusual house, built upside down, is interesting both in appearance and interior.
Overview of the Upside Down House
The appearance of the Inverted House immediately attracts attention - the foundation of the building is on top, and the roof is on the bottom. This is a real architectural phenomenon that not only pleases the eye, but also fascinates with its unusualness. The Upside Down House seems small, but its area is about 85 square meters, which allows tourists to comfortably familiarize themselves with its contents.
The architectural solution of the house creates the impression of a fairy tale. Thanks to the wooden frame structure, the construction of the building was completed in just one and a half months, and during this time it has already managed to become a popular tourist attraction.
Interior design: Magic flip
Not only the exterior of the house is interesting, but also what is inside. The interior of the House fully corresponds to the exterior concept - all furniture, paintings and household items are located upside down. When entering the house, visitors find themselves in an "inverted" reality, which creates the feeling of being in another dimension.
On the first floor (which according to traditional logic is an attic) there are utility rooms and a bathroom. A large wooden staircase leads to the main part of the house, where you can see massive furniture, paintings and even a stuffed fox - all attached to the ceiling, which creates an amazing effect.
Tourists are especially interested in the "real Hutsul chair", on which you can sit while looking at the sky, because it is attached to the ceiling. This is one of the many interesting elements that attract the attention of visitors.
Local culture and history
The Upside Down House is also a kind of museum of life and culture of the Carpathian region. Here you can get acquainted with the history of the region and see unique objects that represent the traditional way of life of local residents. All decor elements are hand-made by Carpathian craftsmen, which adds authentic charm to the house.
